TELECOMMUNICATIONS
.
The Lendosan telecommunications network is relatively well developed. It is operated by a mixture of public and private companies. The largest telecommunications company, Celista, is 49% owned by the state and 51% owned by Lanatira Technologia, Lendosa's largest company. Other smaller companies, including ones owned by the governments of Ranha and Kha (two member states of the Confederation) compete with Celista in certain areas, but not across the whole country.

Almost every Lendosan household has access to a telephone. Lendosa's international telephone code is 33. Inside that, the nation is divided into its six member states, government services, and mobile telephones.. The telephone codes for them are listed below.

If Lendia or Piolsa is being dialed, another two-digit code is needed to specify the region. The other four states, while also divided into regions, are considered small enough to make separate regional telephone codes unnecessary.

Example telephone number
If a person outside Lendosa wanted to dial a number in Olasano, a city in Lendia's Rivania region, from somewhere outside Lendosa, the number would look something like: 33-1-3-4-5769461. The 33 is for Lendosa, the 1 for Lendia, the 3 for Rivania, the 4 for Olasano, and the last digits the actual telephone number.

Emergency numbers
Some telephone numbers are fairly universal. The main one is for emergency services such as the police, fire, and ambulance services. To reach these, the only number needed is 000.
